Rebeka's Rainbow - Photo Taken June 22, 2005

TO ALL OUR FRIENDS

As we begin the month of December 2005 we are getting closer to the sixth month that our beautiful daughter left us to be with God in heaven. I would like to share a beautiful story with you.

The day of her wake, one of the most painful days of our lives, was also a very important one. That day we felt the presence of God in our lives. The pain was, and still is very intense in our souls; however, we were blessed with a gift from our Celestial Father a” Rainbow”. This rainbow filled us with strength, love and hope.

For many months I, Rebeka’s mom, have been waiting to give my testimony to all of you, whom believe in the only truth “God”.

On June 22nd while we were all together saying goodbye to our princess, it rained. I remember hugging many people with their clothes wet. It was very dark out side and Father Peter came to us and said: Rebeka did not die… when you see a rainbow you will see her smile and her light will shine on every one! For those of you who may not know, the most beautiful rainbow appeared that afternoon. On the most painful afternoon of our lives, this rainbow appeared and filled us with the strength, and courage to be able to go on with our lives without Rebeka.

Ever since that day our home has been full of rainbows. Many times when we pray for a signal from Rebeka, a rainbow will appear or we will see a bright ray of sun.

Rebeka is here with us and with every one of you in our hearts and in our memories.

All of us can now enjoy this heavenly blessing that God has sent us as a reminder. .

May the bright light of Rebeka’s rainbow shine upon you and remind you of our family’s love. Happy Holidays and drive safely.

And of course

Sinceramente.

Lourdes, Jorge, Vickie
Y desde luego Rebeka Verea
